FACTS

icon 1This procedure is no more damaging than applying mascara.

icon 2Each procedure can take anywhere from 45 minutes for a touch-up to a little more than an hour for a new set.

icon 3The synthetic lashes are applied to your natural eyelashes lash by lash with an odorless special bonding agent about 1mm from the root of each lash.  Neither the glue nor the synthetic lash will ever come in contact with your skin.

icon 4On the average, depending upon how you care for them, lash extensions could last 6-8 weeks.

icon 5We recommend coming in for a touch-up every two weeks to maintain fullness.  A lot of our clients come in weekly, much like getting a manicure.

icon 6Remember, your natural lashes replenish every day.  We carry non-prescription products to enhance and keep your natural lashes healthy.

Eyelashs Extensions After Care

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:

Although this procedure is no more damaging to applying mascara, we urge you to check with your doctor first for allergies, especially if you have a history of eye disease.

icon1  Remove all eye make up and clean your lashes with a mild, oil-free cleanser.
Do NOT use oil-based make up removers.

icon2  Do NOT put on mascara.  Removal takes a lot of time.

icon3  Do NOT curl your lashes.

icon4  Contact lenses must be removed prior to procedure.

icon5  We suggest bringing a personal music player.  This is a relaxing, sleep inducing beauty treatment.  Talking should be kept to a minimum as this procedure requires optimum precision. Relaxed facial muscles ensure maximum results at minimal time.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO AFTER YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT:

Now that we have given you an amazing set of eyelash extensions, it is up to you to maintain them. Following are maintenance guidelines to help keep them looking amazing longer.

icon-1  Avoid getting your new lashes wet for the first 6 hours after application

icon-2  Avoid extreme heat, swimming, steam rooms and hot saunas for the next 48 hours.

icon-3  Do not use oil-based products, eyelash curlers, perm or tint the lash extensions.  These will break the bond.

icon-4  Mascara will dissolve the adhesive, but if you simply must use mascara for a special occasion and such, use only water-based mascara.

icon-5  Gently remove eye makeup with oil-free cleansers.

icon-6  Avoid rubbing your eyes and do not attempt to pull off loose lash extensions.

icon-7  After you shower, gently pat your lashes dry with tissue and use an eyelash comb to groom any stray lashes, carefully and gently only when needed.

icon-8  DO NOT attempt to remove your lash extensions yourself.  Let them fall off by themselves or come and let us professionally remove them with a special remover.

Eyelashs Extensions FAQ

icon q 1How are eyelash extensions applied? Do they damage my natural lashes?

Synthetic lashes are attached individually to your own lashes using a special adhesive, 1mm away from the skin. No, application of extensions are no less damaging than applying mascara.

icon q 2How long do they last?

Extensions can last up to 3-6 weeks, with proper aftercare. Since lashes fall daily, it is recommended to come every two weeks for maintenance.

icon q 3Can I use an eyelash curler and mascara?

It is not recommended to use a curler or mascara, as the mascara will interfere with the adhesive and the curler will damage the extensions.

icon q4How are eyelash extensions removed?

Lashes are removed by our technicians using a professional remover. Do not pick at lashes, as they will fall off naturally with the natural lash.

icon q 5How do I care for my lashes in between visits?

By avoiding extreme heat, swimming, & steam rooms for the first 48hrs, you automatically preserve the life of your lashes. Use oil-free cleansers when removing, as the oil will dissolve the adhesive. After showing, pat lashes dry with a tissue and use an eyelash comb to groom carefully when needed.

icon q 6Will i be charged for cancelling my appointment?

Due to the high volume of bookings, we have initiated a 100% cancellation fee for both eyelash extensions and permanent makeup. Please honor your appointment and if you must cancel, do so at least 6 hours prior to your appointment to avoid charges. We request a credit card to keep on file for any cancellations that are made less than 6 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you choose not to provide your credit card information, we will not be able to confirm or hold your appointment.
